Ashish Nehra Profile :

Born on 29th April 1979, Ashish Nehra is an Indian cricketer who has represented India in all formats of the game – Test Matches, One Day Internationals (OID’s) and T20 matches. He plays for Delhi in the domestic cricket and also plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He is a left-arm fast bowler who is considered to be one of the best swing bowlers that Indian has produced in recent times.

Sadly, Nehra’s career has been plagued by injuries. When fully fit and in form, Nehra is capable of running through sides – like he did against England in the 2003 ICC World Cup.

He played the inaugural IPL season (2008) for the Mumbai Indians (MI). He then joined Delhi Daredevils (DD) and played for them in IPL 2009 and IPL 2010.

In players auction for IPL 2011 he was bought by Pune Warriors India (PWI) and he played with them till 2012. He was traded back to the Daredevils going into IPL 2013.

In players auction for IPL 2014 he was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs. 2 Crores.

2015 was his best IPL season. He played in 16 matches and picked up 22 wickets in IPL 2015 at an average of 20.40.

In players auction for IPL 2016, Ashish Nehra was bought by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) for Rs. 5.5 Crore. In IPL 2016 he played in 8 matches and picked up 9 wickets at an average of 22.11.

He was retained by the team for IPL 2017.

Lets hope that he picks up many wickets in IPL 2017 for SunRisers Hyderabad.
