Born on 27th October 1986, David Warner is an Australian cricketer who plays for Australia in Test Matches, ODI’s and T20 matches. He plays for New South Wales in the domestic cricket and also plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

A quick-scoring left-handed opening batsman, Warner is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for a national team in any format without experience in the first-class cricket.

Warner also became the first cricketer to record centuries in back to back T20 matches.

He was signed up by the Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the IPL 2009 season and he played for them till the end of IPL 2013.

In five IPL seasons played for Delhi, Warner scored 1435 runs playing in 55 matches at an average of 28.7 which included 2 centuries and 10 half-centuries.

In players auction for IPL 2014, David Warner was bought by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) for Rs. 5.5 Crore.

In IPL 2014, Warner played 14 games scoring 528 runs at an average of 48 while in IPL 2015, Warner played 14 games scoring 562 runs at an average of 43.23. However IPL 2016 was even better, as he scored 848 runs of 17 matches at an average of 60.57 and also won the IPL title for his team.
