Ekalavya Dwivedi Profile :

Born on 22nd July 1988, Ekalavya Dwivedi is an Indian cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh in the domestic cricket. He also plays in the Indian Premiere League (IPL).

He briefly trained under former Punjab and Rajasthan opening batsman Ajay Mehra.

He is a sound wicketkeeper and has good batting skills, and hence is also a very useful lower-order batsman.

He was signed by Pune Warriors India (PWI) in IPL 2012 and IPL 2013 but he never got a chance to play for the team in those two seasons.

He was part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2015 but again did not get a chance to play.

Surprisingly in players auction for IPL 2016, Eklavya Dwivedi was bought by Gujarat Lions for Rs. 1 Crore making him one of the most expensive uncapped Indian players in IPL 2016 players auction.

In IPL 2016, he played in just 4 matches scoring 24 runs.

In players auction of IPL 2017 he was bought by SunRisers Hyderabad for Rs. 75 lakhs.

Lets hope that he gets to play in more matches in IPL 2017 playing for SunRisers Hyderabad team.
