Born on 30th September 1986, Martin Guptill is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for New Zealand national cricket team in Test and ODI matches. He plays for Auckland in the New Zealand’s domestic cricket.

He has also played in Big Bash League (BBL) and Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Guptill is a right-handed opening batsman who occasionally bowls right-arm offbreaks.

He is first known player who is playing international cricket with only two fingers on his left foot. He lost his fingers when he was just 14 due to an accident.

Guptill was signed in by Mumbai Indians as a replacement for IPL 2016.

In IPL 2016 he played in just 3 matches and managed to score just 57 runs.
