Born on 20th October 1991, Mitchell Marsh is an Australian cricketer. He plays for the Western Australia in the domestic Australian cricket. He also plays in the Indian Premiere League.

At 17, Mitchell Marsh became the youngest Australian ever to play in their domestic one-day competition, and was also Western Australia’s youngest debutant for above 70 years.

He is a middle order batsman who bats right-handed and is a medium fast bowler.

He is younger brother of Shaun Marsh and son of former Australian vice-captain and coach Geoff Marsh

In 2010 he was picked up by the Deccan Chargers. He made his IPL debut in 2010 playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Later on Mitchell Marsh was selected by the Pune Warriors India, for US$ 290,000 in the IPL Auction 2011. he played for them in IPL 2011 and IPL 2013.

He was out of IPL in 2014 and 2015.

In players auction for IPL 2016, he was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) for Rs. 4.8 Crores.

In IPL 2016, he played in 3 matches taking 4 wickets at an average of 11.25.

He was retained by the team for IPL 2017.
